Your onboarding
You start your onboarding at our Head Office in Hamburg, where you get to know your team, our way of working, and the key processes.
As you progress, you deepen your understanding of our company - including during a stay at the Fielmann Academy at Schloss Plön.
You also gain insights into our value chain—from our stores to our production.
Your rotations
You complete three rotations of three months each at the Head Office, gaining insights into different areas and how they connect. In addition, you spend at least three months abroad at one of our international locations.
If you’d like to dive deeper, you can optionally extend your trainee program from 18 to 24 months and complete additional rotations. You’ll discuss this with your mentor.
Your responsibilities
You’re not just involved in day-to-day business - you also take on responsibility early. At the same time, you lead your own strategic, cross-functional project with direct business relevance. At the end of your trainee program, you present your results to senior management.

You build a strong network early on and connect with leaders across the company. At the Leadership Summit at the Fielmann Academy at Schloss Plön, you gain insights into strategic topics and get to know the company from a broader perspective.
