With the start of the new year, Fielmann has entered the decisive final year before the go-live of an even more seamless integration of online and in-store business at our new distribution center in Chomutov – scheduled for January 1, 2027.
Preparations are currently in full swing: systems and processes are being tested and optimized. On site, the technical infrastructure is increasingly taking shape – the first shuttle systems are going live, and core processes are being finalized and aligned. Step by step, Chomutov is becoming the largest and most technologically advanced distribution center within the Fielmann Group.
An important milestone on this journey was a joint summit of the project team last November. During intensive workshops, the key milestones and dependencies for 2026 were defined, and the roadmap toward go-live was refined.
With a clear focus, we are entering this year ready to successfully and sustainably complete the final integration of our online and in-store business – together, focused, and driven by strong team spirit.
