In August and September, around 1,400 apprentices in ophthalmic optics and hearing acoustics began their apprenticeship at our stores across Germany – we warmly welcome you and wish you great success as you start your apprenticeship!
To kick things off, our “newbies” met digitally – an event organized by apprentices for apprentices. Our dedicated apprentices Lisa & Nadja hosted the virtual event and demonstrated just how much responsibility our young talents take on!
With icebreaker games, lively exchanges about apprenticeship at Fielmann, tips for the first days, and a warm, personal welcome from Marc Fielmann, the event created a fantastic atmosphere.
Especially inspiring were the contributions from our country representatives for Germany, Elisabeth Yad-Mellat and Sandra Scheidweiler, Regional Manager for North Rhine-Westphalia. Both shared their personal career journeys at Fielmann – from starting out as ophthalmic optics apprentices to reaching leadership positions today. With authentic insights, motivating words, and practical tips, they provided valuable impulses for the apprentices’ professional futures and the diverse opportunities at Fielmann.
